Lenox Instrument Companys Micro Borescope
delivers a clear, bright image ideal for close-range inspection
of electronic & computer assemblies, medical & biomedical
devices, cast & machined parts, turbine blade cooling holes
and other small passage openings, as well as in security and covert
applications particularly where access is limited and the
insertion point is only a few millimeters in diameter.
Micro Borescopes from Lenox feature a focusing eyepiece
and utilize the latest fiberoptic bundle technology that provides
superb resolution. The scopes rugged design and durable construction
give them superior ability to tolerate tip deflections and moderate
bending. Micro Borescope insertion probes are waterproof, resistant
to oil and can withstand temperatures up to 60°C (140°F).
The Lenox Micro Borescope comes in both flexible
and semirigid models. The flexible scope is ideal for nspecting
difficult to reach areas that require the ability to maneuver around
corners or obstructions. The semi-rigid scope is ideal for straight-line
inspections of small diameter openings. Micro Borescopes are available
in diameters as small as 0.5 mm (.020 inch), and in standard lengths
from 10 cm (4 inches) to 15.2 m (50 feet). Other diameters, lengths
and custom configurations are available, as well.
All models in the Micro Borescope line are
fully digital- and video-adaptable, allowing for the viewing and
recording of real-time or still images for reference. Micro Borescopes
are compatible with other Lenox accessories such as complete color
video systems and light sources (standard,explosion-proof and portable
versions) for self-contained illumination of the inspection area.
