Fired Heater Camera System for Monitoring Burner Performance in Refinery and Petrochemical Plants Trevose, PA – Lenox Instrument Company’s Fired Heater Camera System helps increase fired heater / process heater reliability and performance by providing effective and safe visual inspection for diagnosing and solving problems associated with burners. Capable of operating trouble-free in temperatures up to 3,000 ºF (1,649 ºC) the Lenox Fired Heater Camera System improves safety by eliminating manual site port inspections with 24/7, high-resolution, color video monitoring and digital recording capabilities and also allows operators to clearly distinguish flame color, helping to manage NOx and reduce fuel consumption by as much as 2%. By viewing directly inside a fired heater, from the control room, operators can optimize fuel/air ratios by monitoring burner performance and identifying potential problems such as such as burner light-off failure, flame lift-off, flame impingement on tubes, tube displacement, tube leaks, irregular flame patterns, smoky flames, and flame instability. Lenox Fired Heater Camera Systems are available with either a 24-inch or 36-inch long air-cooled lens assembly, in either direct or right-angle view configurations and are available with both IP and analog output capabilities for local or remote viewing. Each Fired Heater Camera System is designed, manufactured and serviced in-house by Lenox Instrument Company, and is backed by an industry-leading two-year warranty.
