Rigid Borescopes with Orbital Rotation

Lenox Instrument Company offers an extensive line of quality, high performance rigid borescopes. These scopes are the most broadly applied method of remote visual inspection in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, providing the best value on a performance vs. cost evaluation. Lenox Rigid Borescopes are commonly used to inspect inside aircraft engines, tubing and pipe, and machined, cast and hydraulic parts.

Rigid Borescopes have an “Orbital Scan” feature that allows the user to “scan around” the area of inspection without rotating the entire instrument. With a Lenox Rigid Borescope, it is possible to identify details and flaws as small as 0.001 inch. All feature the highest intensity fiberoptic illumination (standard) and with a variety of
probes (direct, forward oblique, to-the-side or retrospective), magnifications and fields of view available, any type of cavity can be easily and effectively probed, on any budget.

Lenox optical systems are computer-designed to produce an abundance of near-100%-white light and the highest possible resolution. As a result, Lenox optics provide bright, clear, true-color images, whether seen through an eyepiece, digitally captured, or video transmitted for viewing on a remote monitor. Lenox Rigid Borescopes consistently achieve the highest possible resolution scores in tests, using N.I.S.T. resolution targets.

The Rigid Borescopes feature rugged stainless steel construction and are sealed against fluids; they are
available in diameters from 4 mm (.157 inch) to 10 mm (0.395 inch), and lengths from 17.8 cm (7 inches) to 160 cm (63 inches).

A complete selection of light sources, accessories, cameraand video adapters and monitoring equipment are
